Day 4 - Walt Disney World - Epcot Centre

Orlando is theme park city. This is where families from all over the USA come with the kids for holidays. It's the Gold Coast on steroids without the beach. I'm pretty sure I could be here for several weeks and still not get through all the attractions.

With that in mind I chose three different attractions to go to over the course of my three full days here. Day one being Disney's Epcot.

The park is split into two distinct areas, first area being Future World with a whole bunch of rides and attractions that they tied together with a theme of technological advancement and innovation. That's everything from a car thrill ride to a leisurely boat ride through some of their research areas on agriculture. (Disney involved in research?)

The second half of the park, World Showcase is a series of areas dedicated to different countries which has an attraction, shopping and food all related to that culture. If you haven't had the chance to visit the country in person, this is a probably a close second best. By the time I got to France I had to take a rest and was thinking about how nice it would be to be sitting on the French Riviera rather than Disney's contrived version so the only logical next step was to enjoy some French wine.

After finishing of the rest of the park and spending the entire day at Epcot it was time to head back to the hotel and relax. I went home via the supermarket for a bit of a look-see and to get some breakfast ingredients an I've got an apartment style place with a small kitchenette.

Low and behold what do I find in the alcohol section, Fosters. Now I don't drink beer, but I'm of the understanding that this one is pretty bad. If this is the best advertising we can do of Australia to have Fosters on the shelves in the USA, we really aren't doing ourselves any favours now are we.
